Snooker Room

The Lightcliffe Club Snooker Room is one of the best snooker venues in the area with a large snooker hall hosting 4, very well looked after, full-size tables, including a heated match table; and to put the icing on the cake, the snooker room has been approved for redecoration to make the venue even more appealing.

The Lightcliffe Club is currently home to 4 teams playing in the Brighouse & District Snooker League; http://www.brighouse-snooker.co.uk/  We have 3 teams playing in the Thursday league and 1 in the Wednesday League which means this well-equipped club has the capacity for even more teams; Wednesday has space for a further 3 teams and Thursday for 1 extra team.  If you are interested in joining a team or submitting a new team, please click ‘Contact Us’ and one of our team will get back to you with more information.

This league also plays host to several annual competitions, including 2 individual competitions (Handicap and Merit), 1 pairs competition and a team knockout.

The 2017/18 season saw our guys do a fantastic job and bring home many accolades for the Lightcliffe Club; the D Team brining home the trophy by winning the league, an amazing feat; John Whitaker of the B Team unlucky to lose in the semi-final of the prestigious individual Merit competition, where it is the best of the best playing for the title, but, as true sportsmanship goes, the guys carried on supporting the eventual winner, Gary Roberts; and finally, B Team player, Dave Simpson winning the individual Handicap competition title, what an achievement.

Trophies awarded at presentation evening will be proudly on show in The Lightcliffe Club Snooker Room.

As you can see the professional side of this brilliant venue is coming on leaps and bound, however, this venue is also open to the public; feel free to come down and have a go on a match table for just a minimal charge for the lights.

If you would like any more information around any of the above, please get in touch now by clicking ‘Contact Us’, one of our lovely staff will be more than happy to point you in the right direction.
